The third Ultimate News Quiz is going ahead early 2009 and we’d love you to come again and pit your wits against the biggest brains and egos in TV and Radio News. So please put this date in your diaries now—Friday February 6th 2009 from 6.30pm onwards

Our host is the mistress of humiliation Anne Robinson. Rory Bremner will be providing the half time entertainment and the charity auction which last year featured a signed pair of Jeremy Paxman’s pants. We’re aiming even higher this time.

The event is being staged once again at the headquarters of in The City of London. The evening starts with a Taittinger champagne reception at 6.30pm followed by the Ultimate News Quiz at 8pm. Food and drink is served throughout the night and there are some superb prizes in our silent auction plus a fantastic goody bag to take home. After the results and cup presentation at 10.30 the party continues just around the corner at the rooftop bar at Shoreditch House with an open bar till half past midnight. We promise you a raucous, stimulating and entertaining night with the biggest names in British TV and Radio News.

Teams will include ITV News, BBC News, BBC 24, Sky News, Channel 4 News, Today & WATO, Five News, Newsnight and the current holders, Radio 4.
